Job Specs: Commercial Interior Painting; Mask, cover, and protect adjacent surfaces. Brush and vacuum insulated ceiling; light wash as needed. Apply 2 coats premium grade paint to ceiling, walls, columns, and beams. Includes Shop, Locker Rooms and Bathrooms in Shop.

Description: Operating thirty bay Diesel Mechanics shop. Job was accomplished in in stages of four bays at a time working ten-hour shifts seven days a week. Our operation was isolated as much as possible from the working mechanics in the rest of the shop by hanging 30' x40' plastic drops from structural beams with vise grips. A self-crosslinking hydrophobic acrylic coating was used to minimize preparation and cleaning of fifteen years of diesel exhaust accumulated on the ceiling and structure. This high-tech waterborne single component epoxy type primer/finish links with the existing hydrocarbon residue, thus sealing in the hydrocarbons and minimizing cleaning & down-time for the client. The entire job was completed in only seventeen days with a crew of four.
